Original Abstract
Cielom prace je poukazať na rozvoj fyzikalnych metod pri možnosti určovania nadmorských výšok. Okrem geometrickej či GNSS nivelacie sa s rozvojom technických možností ponuka dalšia metoda. Chronometricka nivelacia je myšlienka, ktora vznikla v 60-ich rokoch minuleho storočia, technický vývoj však jej prakticku realizaciu odložil o niekolko desaťročí. Presne meranie času na bodoch umožnuje presne určenie rozdielu geopotencialu medzi nimi. Výšky su teda vztiahnute k zakladnej hladinovej ploche - geoide (aktualna hodnota geopotencialu na jeho povrchu).
English abstract
The purpose of this paper is to point out the fact that physical geodesy has a new option for measuring height differencies between two points. Instead of geometric or GNSS leveling the new method appeard. Chronometric leveling is a resurrected idea from 1960' but technival development held up the practical realization for a few decades. Precise simultaneous time measurement at two different points allows to dermine difference in their geopotential value. Heights are basically based ob level surface - geoid and actual value of geopotential on it. In this paper the basics for precise time measuring as clock precision, clock synchronization and some possible experiments are showed. In the last place sum of various effects on geopotential value are stated.
