Original Abstract
This paper concerns tests carried out to investigate the response of nonlinear material models of concrete subjected to dynamic loading in numerical simulations performed using the finite element approach. The numerical simulations tested the behavior of nonlinear concrete models within the context of investigating the mechanico-physical properties of concrete under uniaxial and triaxial compression, using cylinders. The results gained from the numerical simulations take the form of load-displacement and load-time diagrams created for a concrete cylinder whose behavior under compression was calculated by five individual nonlinear models of concrete. The results gained from the numerical simulations are compared with experimental results.
