Original Abstract
This paper deals with the permanent magnets excited synchronous machine having the simple tooth stator coils. The common knowledge of mechanical structure of these machines and their advantages and disadvantages are discussed here. Then there are stated some results of the operating characteristics (especially static torque vs. dc stator coils current, input voltage and current vs. rotor load, active, reactive and apparent electric input vs. rotor load, waveform of generated voltage if the machine is running as a generator, etc.) which were obtained by measurements on the experimental machine. There are also stated the results of the numerical torque analysis (using finite element method supported in Ansys and FEMM software). The numerical analysis and static torque measurement results are compared at the end of this paper.
