Original Abstract
The creep of concrete is known as rise of deformation that is caused by plastic flow within material during long-term loading. On the other hand, formation of deformation during shrinkage of concrete at early stages is independent of size and period of loading. Adequate description of behavior of concrete during drying and during long-term loading is playing important role in case of significant structures and also in case of steel-concrete structures. This problem is sphere of interest of many scientific workplaces and has not been fully concluded so far. This statement can be proved by an existence of a several shrinkage and creep models which deal with this phenomenon in various ways. The submitted article brings a short description of very simple approach based on modification of mechanical properties of concrete. The article includes description of used nonlinear material models and deals with methods that are implemented in current computational systems for purpose of solving the phenomenon of creep for bridge construction with steel-concrete cross-section.
