Nečekaně pomalý nástup protokolu IPv6 nutí stále více organizací intenzivně hledat řešení umožňující efektivnější využití současného malého IPv4 adresového prostoru. Jednou z technologií, která toto umožňuje je Carrier Grade NAT (CGN), tedy překlad adres prováděný centrálně v sítí operátora.

English abstract

The slow deployment of the IPv6 protocol forces more and more organisations to look for an effective utilization of their IPv4 address space. Carrier Grade NAT (CGN) is a technology that can be use in this case. CGN allows central address translation in an operator network.
