Original Abstract
Cooperation between neuronal populations underlies the basic principles of brain function and connectivity. Regions generating seizures in focal epileptic brain (seizure onset zone – SOZ) are characterized by interictal spikes & pathological high-frequency oscillations (HFO), hyper-synchrony and functional disconnection[8,9]. Details about the SOZ function and its connectivity are still not well described. We investigated changes in local connectivity (SOZ, non-SOZ) over different spatial scales and behavioural stages.
