Original Abstract
This paper focuses on development of negative sequence relay model that is processing IEC 61850-9-2 Sampled Values. The detection of negative sequence current and fast, reliable operation of protection relay is useful for power system components. This paper describes negative sequence relay model programmed in LabView that was tested with software tools developed in Brno University of Technology. Results from testing were compared with the real protection relay ABB REM 543 and also with theoretical computed values.
