Experimental procedure for the verification of failure and deformation mechanism of beams under lateral-torsional buckling

Zkušební zařízení pro experimentální ověřování působení nosníků při klopení umožňuje verifikaci mezních stavů a skutečného chování reálných nosníků s uvážením vlivu počátečních geometrických, strukturálních a konstrukčních imperfekcí. Uspořádání experimentu je zaměřeno na základní problém volného klopení bez vlivu vazeb v poli nosníku.

Test equipment for experimental verification of beams under flexural- torsional buckling allows for the validation of limit states and actual beam behaviour considering the influence of the initial geometrical, structural and constructional imperfections. The experiment arrangement is aimed to the basic problem of free buckling without influence of restraints in the beam span.
