Original Abstract

Směřování urbanistických teorií se v posledních desetiletích rozděluje do mnoha různých směrů. Ať už se teorie spoléhají na invence občanů, nebo striktní vedení státní správy, jeden zásadní parametr mají společný. Tím je naplnění zásad udržitelnosti. Jedním ze směrů, který se výrazně podílí na tvorbě udržitelného prostředí je tzv. udržitelný urbanismus (Sustainable urbanism). Tento směr vznikl ve Spojených státech, jeho obměny nezávisle na sobě vnímáme i v českém prostředí. Článek se zabývá rozborem „Udržitelného urbanismu“, jeho teoretickými východisky, hlavními zásadami a nejznámějšími aplikacemi do praxe. S tím porovnává stav problematiky v českých podmínkách.

English abstract

Towards urban theories in recent decades it divides into many different directions. Whether the theory rely on the ingenuity of citizens, and strict management of government, a crucial parameter are common. This is the fulfillment of the principles of sustainability. One of the ways that significantly contributes to the creation of a sustainable environment is called. Sustainable urbanism (Sustainable urbanism). This trend originated in the United States, its permutations independently perceived in the Czech environment. The article deals with the analysis of "sustainable urbanism", its theoretical background, key principles and best-known applications into practice. With that compares the state of problems in Czech conditions.
