Original Abstract
The paper describes the formulation of life cycle cost optimization design of a utility tunnel lining. The principle of a solution for the problem of cross section dimension (thickness of lining) and reinforcement design optimization in a concrete structure is introduced. The survey of existing utility tunnels is considered as a basis for estimating the costs associated with maintenance.
