Original Abstract
Options for reduction of harmful emissions from combustion of gaseous fuels with the main focus on the possibilities of nitrogen oxides (NOx) formation abatement in dependence on operational parameters, type of fuel burnt and most importantly on the burner design are described in the paper. Measurements made in a full industrialscale experimental facility (combustion chamber) were performed on two burners, namely a burner with fuel staging and secondly a burner designed specifically to en-able concurrent combustion of two different gaseous fuels (dual burner) with both fuel and air staging.
