Original Abstract

Vzrostlá zeleň ve městech a sídlištích, především stromy a keře, plni celou řadu významných pro lidskou společnost. V současnosti jsme již schopni rozpoznat a definoval přinos městské zeleně z mnoha hledisek', dendrologické hodnoty, hygienický a ekologičtí význam vegetace, klimatické funkce, historické hodnoty, psychologické a sociální hodnoty. Jednotlivé položky bohužel dále nelze v souvislosti s možným rozsahem příspěvku podrobněji diskutovat.

English abstract

Therise in the proportional share of hardstanding areas in urban districtsbrings aboutawhole number of adverse factors endangering the environment. This mainly concerns tk disturbance of me natural hydrological and macro-energetic system in tbe environments of the cites in the Czcch Republic. In order to maintain orimprove the conditions of life is it vítaly protéct urban green vegetation against the negative effects of civil work. This páper deserte the possibilities of documenting the relatíon of the urban tree root systems and civil structuies, of the sewer systém using the GPR method (ground penetrating radar).
