Original Abstract
The aim of the work is to present the advantages of the application of renewable energy sources in an office buildings in the Czech Republic. Given the demands on the application of renewable energy sources and the issue of lack of free spaces in cities, this work will address the evaluation of the advantages and applications of solar energy and geotermal energy as the resources with easy applicability in the construction of new office buildings. Data for comparison are obtained from national statistics and already implemented projects, where were used equipment and technology that extracts energy from renewable sources. Compared deals with evaluating an acquisition, operating and maintenance costs for selected types of heating. Model of an administrative building is analyzes energy consumption in an office buildings.
