V průběhu předpokládané životnosti střešního pláště se předpokládá spolehlivost hydroizolačního vrstvy na takové úrovni, aby byla schopna uchovat si své hydroizolační vlastnosti i přes své opotřebení vlivem působení externích vlivů
English abstract
Physical properties of all roof systems change with age and exposure. The change in the physical properties of a roof membrane may be a function of many factors. Factors which can affect the physical properties of a membrane include chemical formulation stability, geographical location, heat and ultraviolet radiation exposure, type of roofing system and other conditions in conjunction with the type of membrane and roof slope. This paper should give basic information on various testing methods of waterproof membranes which are used on flat roofs. It also discusses various types of testing and evaluating methods which may be used in field and also in laboratories on membranes which were exposed to climatic conditions on roofs. The goal is to find appropriate testing methods which will give useful information about the condition of the used membrane which can be used for determining cause of roof system failure.
