V některých případech je nutné provést zkoušku pevnosti betonu v tlaku a v příčném tahu i na tělesech jiných rozměrů, než bývá obvyklé, což může ovlivnit výsledky. Příspěvek se proto zabývá vlivem velikosti zkušebního tělesa na výslednou hodnotu pevnosti betonu s lehkým kamenivem. Pro účel experimentu byly namíchány 4 druhy lehkých betonů. Měření probíhalo na zkušebních tělesech tvaru krychle o velikosti 100⇥100⇥100mm a na krychlích o velikosti 150⇥150⇥150 mm. Provedena byla zkouška pevnosti v tlaku a zkouška pevnosti v příčném tahu. Výsledky jsou podrobně zpracovány v tabelární a grafické podobě.

In some cases, it is necessary to test the compressive and tensile splitting strength of concrete on specimen with other dimensions than usual, which may affect the results. Therefore, the paper deals with the specimen’s size effect on the result of concrete’s strength. For the purpose of the experiment, four types of lightweight concrete were prepared. Measurements were carried out on cubic test specimens with nominal dimensions of 100⇥100⇥100mm and 150⇥150⇥150 mm. A compressive strength and a tensile splitting strength tests were performed. Finally, the results of the measurements were compared.
