Original Abstract
The aim of this study was designed hybridization assay consisting of probe modified magnetic particles (MPs) and specific oligonucleotide labeled by quantum dots (QDs), and their application in the detection of avian influenza virus (H5N1) respectively influenza derived oligonucleotide (ODN). There were two basic steps used in the assay: (i) isolation of specific oligonucleotide (target) by anti-sense bounded MPs and (ii) target detection by QDs marker. It was optimized the efficiency of hybridization temperatures between anti senses and target influenza oligonucleotide. QDs labeled target was detected by electrochemical analysis. Our results show that MPs based automatic isolation together with electrochemical detection is available tool for influenza detection.
