Original Abstract

The 7-port Universal Voltage Conveyor is able to substitute all classic types of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation voltage conveyors (positive or negative, non-inverting or inverting). The paper presents precise methodology of arbitrary-type and order filter working in voltage-, current-, and mixed-mode. The synthesis involves the minimization of RC values dispersion and voltage or current dynamic range. The given example shows the design of high-frequency, high-order band-pass filter based on generalized canonical filter structure. Modern filters incorporated in current-mode analog signal processing can be utilized in novel high-speed telecommunication techniques demanding low-noise, low-voltage, and low-power CMOS active technology.
