Original Abstract

The paper provides correct definitions of mutual memristance, memcapacitance, and meminductance. New definitions start from the concept of algebraic n-ports whose subsets are multiport memristors, memcapacitors, and meminductors. Three fundamental fingerprints of these elements, dealing with their hysteretic behaviour, are introduced.
