Original Abstract
This paper shows a new approach to improving a dynamic model of an active magnetic bearing. The active magnetic bearing is a nonlinear system containing a lot of nonlinearities. These nonlinearities are introduced in this paper and Matlab Simulink dynamic model is presented additionally with considering nonlinear ferromagnetic materials. The nonlinearity is accomplished using a look-up table.
