The basis for the stabilization process in technical ways of bank stabilization, stabilization metods of biological engineering an biotechnical ways of stabilization. Less often they are used in our country breakwaters. Another group is longitudinal redicting constructions (built along the banks) and transversal redirecting constructions (built perpendicular or slanting to the bank).
