Kapitola se zabývá bezpečnostní problematiku bezpečnostních systémů s ohledem na to, že na funkčnosti ICT je dnes zcela závislá lidská společnost. Informační systém je systém pro sběr, zpracování, ukládání, vyhledávání a šíření informací, jehož prvky jsou informační a komunikační technologie, data a lidé. Některé informační systémy jsou součástí bezpečnostního systému. V rámci bezpečnostního systému existují jeho části – subsystémy a prvky, které tvoří tzv. bezpečnostní sektor. Jsou to subjekty, jejichž hlavní úlohou nebo jedinou funkcí je zajištění bezpečnosti ve společnosti a které vstupují do interakce mezi sebou, vůči společnosti a vůči subjektům, které představují ohrožení bezpečnosti. Tím provádějí bezpečnostní činnosti v rámci prevenci (ochrana informací), zvládnutí bezpečnostního incidentu (útoku, pohromy, havarijního stavu apod.), a zajištění obnovy funkčnosti (business kontinuity). Tohoto dosahujeme vybudováním systému řízení bezpečnosti informací (ISMS), jehož součástí je analýza a řízení rizik, včetně provedení klasifikace informací.

The chapter deals with the security issues of security systems, considering that human society is now completely dependent on the functionality of ICT. The information system is a system for collecting, processing, storing, searching and disseminating information, whose elements are information and communication technologies, data and people. Some information systems are part of a security system. There are parts of the security system - subsystems and elements that make up the so-called security sector. They are those whose main role or sole function is to ensure security in society and that interact with each other, towards society, and towards entities that pose a security threat. By doing so, they carry out security activities in the framework of prevention (information protection), handling of a security incident (attack, disaster, disaster, etc.), and ensuring business continuity restoration. We do this by building an Information Security Management System (ISMS) that includes risk analysis and management, including classifying information.
