Original Abstract
The presented work describes main equations and assumptions, which are usually used for numerical simulations of electrochemical reactions. These equations were implemented into a CFD software ANSYS FLUENT as a custom model. This model was then used to investigate a general one electron transfer reaction with applied constant voltage. As this simulation showed promising results, an exemplar simulation of cyclic voltammetry was carried out.
