Original Abstract
In spite of the fact that concrete cover meters are some of the most commonly used non-destructive means of measuring reinforcement diameter, position, and cover, there are barely any specific measurement results available in published literature. This paper focuses on the use of a Profometer PM-630 concrete cover meter for in-situ measurements of such things as the cover depth of stirrups in the column of a high-rise building or determining the diameter of main reinforcement in hollow-core ceiling slabs.
