Original Abstract
Measurement and assessment of thermo-physical properties of Ultra High Performance Fiber Reinforced Concrete (UHPFRC) are presented in the paper. The examined fine-grained concrete samples were reinforced with hybrid reinforcement based on combination of steel and PVA fibers. For the measurement, newly designed step-wise transient method was used. In the experiments, retained thermal conductivity and specific heat capacity of UHPFRC samples after their high-temperature exposure to the temperatures starting from laboratory temperature up to 1200 °C were studied. The obtained results gave evidence of the structural changes that examined concretes underwent at hightemperatures. The data on thermal conductivity and specific heat capacity represents valuable information for building practice, materials researchers and building designers. It can be used e.g., as input data for computational modeling of heat transport and storage in UHPFRC-based construction elements exposed to high temperatures.
