Original Abstract
In this work, we present the fabrication and characterization of various parallel-connected single-nanowire gas sensing elements. Each sensing element contains a single cerium oxide-tungsten oxide core-shell nanowire interconnected across a pair of faced nanoelectrodes. The system has been tested in resistive mode towards various concentrations of nitrogen dioxide between 0.25 and 2.5 ppm demonstrating stable and reproducible responses.
