Original Abstract

Medical diagnostics aims at specific localization of molecular targets as well as at detection of abnormalities associated with diseases. Molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) represent an approach of creating a synthetic material exhibiting excellent recognition properties towards the selected template/analyte.
