Original Abstract
Alkali-activated systems represent applicable alternative binder material to conventional cement. Such material has advantage in utilization of secondary raw materials and much lower input energy and carbon dioxide emissions compared to manufacturing of PC. The goal of this publication is either prove or disprove the presence of latent self-healing ability of prepared systems based on the alkali-activated blast furnace slag by means of non-destructive measurements.
