Original Abstract
Electrical impedance spectrometry (EIS), in which a sinusoidal test voltage or current is applied to the sample under test to measure its electrical impedance over a suitable frequency range, is a powerful technique to investigate the electrical properties of a large variety of materials. The paper provides brief information about the results of long time monitoring of electrical properties of the earth dam Karolinka. Monitoring of the earth dam condition is provided by applying electrical impedance measurement using the Z-meter device and with other standard geophysical methods.
