Original Abstract

The aim of this text is to show that in some cases (depending on the size of the dead time and the system time constant) when approximating the 1st order linear time-invariant single-input single-output systems with traffic delay, the approximation with simple Laguerre functions gives better results than the approximation with generalized Laguerre functions.
