Original Abstract
The robot type IRB 4400/60 is placed at workplace of UVSSaR in Brno where it is used for teaching and investigative purposes. This subscription describes and evaluates the handling and programming possibilities of this robot, advantages and disadvantages of its control system. The computer assistance offers the possibilty to use the CAM systems for off--line control which provides further possibilities of programming, teaching and external communication.
