Original Abstract

The aims to introduce a series of innovative strategies to control heat transfer including a new “dry casting” concept, which eliminates the need for water sprays, novel contact resistance sensors in the rolls, and a flexible liquid core detection system linked to the secondary cooling through an advanced Casting Simulation Interface.
