Original Abstract

Článek pojednává o dataci možného vzniku pečeti města Dačic (přesněji jejího pečetidla), přivěšené k listině ze 17. listopadu 1555. Náplní pečezmného pole, stylovým pojednáním i typem písma je však velmi pravděpodobné, že se jedná o práci podstatně mladší. Ma základě provedených interdisciplinárních analýz a komparací s další sfragistickou materií, které autor provedl a v textu článku představuje, lze přesvědčivě dospět k záveru, že typář této pečeti musel vzniknout v první čtvrtině 15. století a představuje dosud nejstrší sfragistický artefakt města Dačic.

English abstract

The paper deals with the dating of the possible origin of the seal of the town of Dačice (more precisely its seal), attached to the deed of 17 November 1555. However, the content of the sealing field, the stylistic character and the typeface indicate, the likelihood that this is a much older piece of work. Based on interdisciplinary analyses and comparisons with other sigillographic material, which the author performed and presents in paper, it can be convincingly concluded that the seal must have been produced in the first quarter 15th century and represents the oldest sigillographic artefact of the town of Dačice.
