Original Abstract

Purpose of this paper is specialized in changes in managing and leading the projects due to COVID-19 in the Czech Re-public. Research methodology consists of literature reviews, qualitative research based on conducted interviews with project managers in the Czech Republic. The main research question is to get best practices and lessons learned of project man-agers in the IT sector. Findings derived from the research and reported at the end of the paper. The findings are based on interviews with pro-ject managers and reflect the reality in the Czech Republic in the field of project management. It describes what the project teams and project managers had to face during the pandemic. Research limitations – the only limitation of this paper is that the research was made in the Czech Republic. For the fu-ture research author wants to extend the sample data obtained from other countries. Practical implications can be found in recommendation for the successful project management in future projects.
