Original Abstract
Misalignments of X-ray computed tomography system's components are one of the most critical factors causing dimensional measurement uncertainty. In this work we analyzed what dimensional errors are induced by the detector in-plane rotation. The effects were also evaluated and compared between helical and circular trajectory. We demonstrated how can these errors be eliminated using a self-calibration algorithm, which uses only projections data itself without additional reference scanning or precise hardware alignment.
