Legenda k obrazu Madony sv. Tomáše obsahuje informace o významu lucemburského založení augustiniánského kláštera v Brně a kaple Panny Marie. Zdůraznění relikvií Tří králů odkazuje na kolínského biskupa Viléma, který se v odpustkové listině z roku 1443 přihlásil k mariánské zbožnosti. Vilémova podpora nejstaršího poutního místa na Moravě přispěla k informaci o palladiálním kultu města Brna

The legend of the picture of Madona St. Thomas contains the information showing the importance of Luxembourg´s establishment of the Augustinian monastery in Bno and the Maria chapel. The emphasis of Three Magis´relicts refers to bishop Vilém from Kolín, who declared his Marian piety in the indulgence charter from 1443. Vilém´s support of the oldest Marian pilgrimage in Moravia region contributed to the information of Palladial cult of Brno city.
