Original Abstract

For augmenting the interest of using PMUs for power system state estimation for further research and analysis, the paper focuses on the application of PMUs for power system state estimation and highlights the issues of the conventional state estimation based on SCADA measurements. It also invistigates the possibilities and advantages brought by PMUs for power system state estimation.
