Original Abstract
The real cepstrum coding (RCC) is parametrical and comprises not only formants but also antiformants of the speech spectrum in contrast to the LPC model, which only realizes formants by the above all-pole transfer function. New cepstral digital filter structures for speech synthesis will be described in this paper. They are based on the cosine expansion of the logarithmic short-time spectrum and the synthesis is realized by the adaptive approximate inverse cepstral transform using continued fractions. Different canonic and noncanonic structures will be compared in regard to the digital signal processor implementation.
