Original Abstract
To transport material in effective way by different means of transport is essential to have an optimised warehouse logistics at first. Thanks to Industry 4.0 platform there are a lot of ways to accomplish delivery of the material from the particular warehouse place for transport either on road, rail or air. The paper deals with a primary warehouse problem which is fast and accurate search and selection of required items in the stock. With this issue, an use of smart glasses technology and its implementation into logistic processes of warehouse, could help. In particular way, an IRS (Integrated Rescue System) warehouse was selected as example. The augmented reality (AR) type of glasses was selected. An introduction part of the paper deals with current situation in warehouse and logistic processes, where the problems with lack of a qualified staff and a material supplying are occuring, particularly during different crisis situations as pandemics, or at high employee turnovers. The use of smart glasses offers one of many possible problem solving variants in this field. There is a basic description of smart glasses, their possible use and its sorting in this paper. For the experiment, it was essential to choose several different commercially availablemodels of smart glasses. An evaluation was provided by a Simple comparative method, Saaty's method and Linear partial utility function method and the best options was identified. Also, there is an example of smart glasses application at particular component picking in IRS warehouse as the last part of the paper.
