PREDICTION OF AVERAGE WATER AND SEWERAGE CHARGE RATE PRICES IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC

Článek se zabývá problematikou cen vodného a stočného České republiky. Výzkum je přímo zaměřen na analýzu vývoje průměrných cen vodného a stočného České republiky v letech 1994–2026. Výzkum je založen na sběru dat. Data pro tento výzkum byla získána z Českého statistického úřadu (1994–2021). Cílem článku je pomocí získaných dat predikovat vývoj průměrných cen vodného a stočného České republiky v letech 2022–2026 pomocí zvolené matematické metody. Nejvhodnější metodou pro tento výzkum je technika lineárního trendu. Tato metoda byla pro relevantnost a vhodnost předem ověřena v předchozím výzkumu. Výpočtem bylo zjištěno, že v roce 2026 by měla být průměrná cena vodného a stočného České republiky 92,77 Kč/m³ bez DPH, tedy o 12,61 % více, než v roce 2021 (82,38 Kč/m³). Je však potřeba říci, že zvolená metoda nijak nezohledňuje žádné externí makroekonomické vlivy. Nebere tedy v potaz ani enormní nárůst inflace od února roku 2022, kdy začalo rapidní zdražování cen vyvolané válkou na Ukrajině. S navýšením inflační míry je uvažováno jen ke konci výpočtu, kde je zobrazen vliv inflace na cenu vodného a stočného.

The article deals with the issue of water and sewerage charge rate prices in the Czech Republic. The research is specifically focused on the analysis of the development of the average prices of water and sewerage charge rate in the Czech Republic in the years 1994–2026. The research is based on data collection. The data for this research was obtained from the Czech Statistical Office (years 1994–2021). The aim of the paper is to use the obtained data to predict the development of average water and sewerage charge rate prices in the Czech Republic in the years 2022–2026 using the chosen mathematical method. The most appropriate method for this research is the linear trend technique. This method has been pre-tested for relevance and suitability in previous research. The calculation showed that the average water and sewerage charge rate prices in the Czech Republic should be 92.77 CZK/m³ excluding VAT in the year 2026, i.e. 12.61 % more than in the year 2021 (82.38 CZK/m³). However, it must be said that the chosen method does not take into account any external macroeconomic influences. It does not even take into account the huge increase in inflation since February 2022, when the rapid price increases caused by the war in Ukraine began. An increase in the inflation rate is considered only at the end of the calculation, where the effect of inflation on the water and sewage charge rate prices is shown.
