Potřeba obstát ve stále náročnějších podmínkách na trhu práce vyžaduje univerzálně připraveného absolventa vysoké školy. Znamená to nejen zvládnutí svého oboru, ale též osvojení soft-skills, prezentačních dovedností či cizích jazyků ad. Klíčové kompetence se stávají nutností pro úspěšné začlenění absolventů do praxe, odbornost nestačí. Tématu všeobecně vzdělávacích předmětů, které rozvíjejí soft-skills u studentů technické univerzity, se věnuje tento příspěvek. Snahou je zpětně zhodnotit stávající kvalitu výuky vybraných společenskovědních předmětů, které přispívají k všestrannému rozvoji studentů a doplňují ty klíčové kompetence, např. komunikativní, sociální aj., na které není dostatečný prostor v předmětech odborných. Hledá se především přínos předmětů pro studenty, pro jejich osobní rozvoj a praxi. To se děje skrze navržení kritérií kvality výuky u vybraných předmětů, pomocí kterých je možné zjistit, jak samotní studenti výuku vnímají a do jaké míry je pro ně přínosná. Tato kritéria kvality výuky se snaží reprezentovat faktory s výukou související, např. strukturace výuky, obsah a rozsah učiva, rozmanitost metod a forem, individuální podpora studentů či transparentní očekávání výkonu aj. Cílem příspěvku nalézt kritéria, která přínos výuky nejvíce ovlivňují, dále významnost kritérií navzájem porovnat a na základě toho se pokusit vyslovit předpoklady pro další modernizaci a zvýšení efektivity výuky do budoucna.

The need to cope in increasingly demanding labor market conditions requires a generally well-prepared university graduate. It means not only mastering its field, but also mastering soft-skills, presentation skills or foreign languages, etc. Key competencies are becoming a necessity for the successful integration of graduates into praxis, expertise is not enough. This paper deals with the topic of general education subjects that develop soft-skills in students of a technical university. The aim is to retrospectively evaluate the current quality of teaching selected social science subjects, which contribute to the all-round development of students and which supplement those key competencies, e.g. communicative, social, etc. for which there is not enough space in vocational subjects. The benefit of the subjects for students, for their personal development and practice is sought. This is done by designing teaching quality criteria for selected subjects, which can be used to find out how students themselves perceive teaching and to what extent it is beneficial for them. These teaching quality criteria try to represent teaching-related factors, such as the structuring of teaching, the content and scope of the curriculum, the diversity of methods and forms, individual student support or transparent performance expectations, etc. The aim of the paper is to find the criteria that most influence the benefits of teaching, furthermore to compare the significance of the criteria, and based on that, to try to state the prerequisites for further modernization and increase in the effectiveness of teaching in the future.
