Original Abstract
The aim of this work is the mathematical simulation of hearing process. The real shape and the real mechanical properties of human ear were considered for the construction of complete finite-element ear model. was used for the creation of FE model, the model includes external acoustic canal, eardrum, middle ear ossicle chain with muscles and ligaments, membranes of oval and round window, snail of cochley, sacculus, Reissners and basilar membrane. Harmonic analysis (system ANSYS) was applied on this model in the range of frequencies from 250Hz to 10 kHz and the response of basilar membrane excitations on sound pressure oscillations in the external air medium was studied. The function of the cochley as sound frequency analyzer was verified.
