Original Abstract

The model of fictitious crack is an effective model for the solution of concrete and reinforced concrete structures by finite element method. The use of this model can be accompanied by problems with strain localization and mesh depended results of solution. To avoid these problems it is necessary to use some of the localization limiters. The paper presents application of nonlocal model to the nonlinear computational model of reinforced concrete slab. The attention is paid to the selection of an appropriate quantity for nonlocal averaging.
