Original Abstract

The research work shows the results obtained during the study of gypsum hemihydrate in laboratory conditions. The reference sample was used of Begostone gypsum from abroad. The importance of the morphology research by the SEM is demonstrated for the identification of hemihydrate alpha modification. Further the mechanism of alpha modification formation was verified in comparison with the beta modification.
