Original Abstract
This abstract reports on the fabrication and properties of durable GCN coatings the adhesion and cohesion of which is secured by using proprietary oligomeric siloxane binder. The siloxane binder provides excellent adhesion and cohesion of the coating. Thus, a delicate compromise between the mechanical properties and photocatalytic activity was found. Mechanical, physical, and chemical properties of the resulting coatings were investigated in detail by various methods a photocatalytic activity was evaluated by decomposition of model dye, resazurin.
