Original Abstract

In this study, we implement a continuous-time linear time-invariant (LTI) system and validate its properties through system identification. We specifically explore two identification methods: one that relies on utilizing generalized Laguerre functions (GLF) and another that employs the least squares (LS) approach, all within a noisy environment. Our findings reveal a substantial reduction in Root Mean Square (RMS) error when employing the GLF identification method compared to the method utilizing least squares approximation.
