Original Abstract
This paper introduces a universal sensor for waste management that enhances operational efficiency and safety across urban environments. The sensor is equipped with ultrasonic and specialized sensors for detecting leaks and smoke, ensuring robust monitoring capabilities. It features adaptable communication options like LoRa, Cat-M1, NB-IoT, and 5G to optimize energy efficiency and real-time data transmission. Significantly, the sensor's configurations are autonomously adjusted based on data analyzed in a centralized data center using AI and machine learning models. This allows for dynamic responses to environmental changes, improving the system's effectiveness and adaptability. Integrating a solar-powered energy system with intelligent power management further supports sustainable operations. The sensor system is designed for easy integration into existing infrastructures, offering a scalable solution that advances the sustainability and safety of urban waste management through smart technology and data-driven insights.
