Original Abstract

Quadrature mirror filter bank is one block which is used in subband coding. By quadrature mirror filter bank a input signal is decomposed into some subband signals which are processed further. By processing this subband signals these subband signals are distorted. This distortion is also in reconstructed output signal. In this paper a structure is described which can be resistant to the distortion. The structure basis is sigma-delta modulator which allows noise shaping. In this case the noise is shaped that it is more suppressed than the classic realization is used. It allow more distortion of subband signals while same distortion of output signal.
