Original Abstract

Sparse distributed memory (SDM) is a particularly simple and efficient formulation for an associative memory that offers features common to neural nets. This paper does not describe only the principle of SDM. It is aimed at mathematical aspects of its behaviour and the way we can effect it via its parameters.
