Original Abstract

The paper presents Petri nets with the input-output interpretation as the models for the recodings from two's complement notation into signed digit system or canonical signed digit system of numbers. The Petri nets are designed so that the number of input variables of the transformation process was reduced. This phenomenon results if some of the radix-2 Booth multiplying methods is implemented in CPU of a computer.
