Original Abstract

A discussion of four two's complement multiplication methods is presented in this paper. The models of pseudoproducts are defined. The models, i.e. mathematic formulas, are prepared for all configurations of signs of a multiplicand and a multiplier. Pseudoproduct errors and pseudoproduct corrections are derived from a structure of formulas. An analysis is conditioned by useful definitions of a scale factor of all numbers.
